We started a new category of incentive awards beginning in 2025.
The Be Still Media Fellowships are individual $10k prizes awarded to four artists this year. This is a unique opportunity for artists dedicated to advancing their creative vision. Open to previous finalists and winners of Be Still Media, the $10k fellowships will award sponsorship for current or newly proposed projects, giving recipients the resources to bring their most inspiring and ambitious works to life.
We welcome proposals of all genres that creatively align with our mission to champion works that search the mind and spark the imagination, inviting us to understand what we value and how that affects the way we live. There are endless possibilities for the Whole Human Artist.
Our Fellowships
Fellowships are open to all finalists and winners of Be Still Media.
Applicants must submit a project proposal detailing their vision, goals, and how the fellowship prize would amplify their work’s impact.
Submissions must include:
1️⃣ WHO: Provide the link to your Prompt finalist or winning entry, including the artist statement and artwork.
2️⃣ WHAT: Tell us about your project. Include any relevant work that has been made to this point. Include a budget to show how the fellowship proceeds would be applied.
3️⃣ WHY: The reason behind this particular project, its purpose and your motivation to make it.
4️⃣ HOW: Share how you envision this project engaging in the world and how it relates to the mission and purpose of Be Still Media.
5️⃣ WHERE: In which venues, platforms, and communities would your work be showcased? Describe your target audience and the impact of your project.
